Create The Look - How to do a Classic Headwrap

Writer's picture: Deborah ButcherDeborah Butcher

It couldn't be easier to create our cover-girl look as featured on the front page of the Ranfire Design Lookbook.

So many people have commented that I make it look easy to create a headwrap.....and that's because IT IS! So I want to show you (with the help of my head mannequin) in a step by step process that actually takes under 30 seconds from start to finish!

I'm using the exact Comfort Turban and Hair & Head Wrap combination used in our photo shoot, but there are so many different colours and patterns available in each that I urge you to get creative with your own unique style.

Pop on your Comfort Turban and choose your Hair & Head Wrap

At the half way point of your Hair & Head Wrap, lay it over the top of your Comfort Turban

Cross the Hair & Head Wrap over at the back

Bring up one end (out of habit, I bring up the right hand side first - but it doesn't matter, whichever way feels easier for you) over the top.

Then cross the other end over.

Give both ends a tug - it helps to achieve a snug fit.

Don't worry, our Hair & Head Wraps are soft and stretchy. A gentle tug won't hurt.

Tuck in one end under the band you have created at the back of the Hair & Head Wrap.

Then tuck the other end in.

The Hair and Head Wrap will sit securely in place. There is no need for pins or clips, unless perhaps it helps you feel more secure - or you want to add a bit of bling.

ADMIRE!!!!!

Trust me....it takes longer to explain than to do!

Give it a go and get creative with colours and patterns to suit yourself.

The exact same technique can be applied to a Hair & Head Wrap without a Comfort Turban, which may be helpful for partial head coverage if you have certain types of alopecia for instance......or just want to look fabulous!

I hope you find this guide helpful......Lots of love xxxx
